    INOVAÇÃO E EMPREENDEDORISMO: UM ESTUDO SOBRE STARTUPS BRASILEIRAS

    This study investigated the main challenges faced by Brazilian startups, based on the account of an entrepreneur from Votuporanga-SP, founder of three technology-based companies. The objective was to understand how these barriers were overcome and which strategies contributed to success. The research is justified by the high failure rate of startups and the lack of regional studies. A qualitative approach was used, with a semi-structured interview and content analysis. The results highlight the importance of prior knowledge, business model validation, scalability, and resilience. The conclusion emphasizes the need for entrepreneurial education and public policies to support the sector.
