    A notably significant portion of professionals in the market are embedded in social contexts and work groups. Although increasingly common, forming work teams and making them truly efficient can be a major challenge. This study aims to delve into the aspects related to efficient teams and highlight the essential role of effective management within this context. Through a literature review combined with interviews conducted with experienced professionals, topics such as motivation, development, diversity, dysfunctions, and contemporary leadership competencies were explored. The results contribute to enhancing people management, enabling the transformation of groups into work teams, fostering consistent team performance, and ensuring ongoing individual and collective development for all involved.
