Item A IMPORTÂNCIA DA CULTURA JUSTA FRENTE AOS EVENTOS ADVERSOS.(2024-06-18) MARIA FERNANDA DE OLIVEIRA BOTTA; RAYSSA BORBOREMA DE AZEVEDO; ADRIANA CARTAThe World Health Organization (WHO) points out that failures in patient safety are recognized as a major and growing global public health challenge, being one of the main causes of death and disability worldwide. A fair culture leads to the quality of assistance provided through the events that are notified, thus the growth of interest of institutions on this subject is clear, as when learning about the subject it is clear that the second victim confesses the error and the leader is able to make interventions in the flow, so that the same failure does not happen again. Therefore, the objective of this work is to discuss the importance of a non-punitive culture in the face of adverse events reported in health institutions. This is a bibliographical review carried out from September 2023 to January 2024, considering the keywords in the Health Sciences Descriptions of the last ten years that met the objectives of the work. A Fair Culture seeks to establish an environment in which the reporting of errors and adverse events is favored and encouraged, without fear of punishment. For this reason, it is important that nurses establish trusting communication with the team.Item ASSISTENCIA DE ENFERMAGEM A PACIENTES EM CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS(2024-06-22) Ernandes Cassio Luciano da Silva Filho; Micael Cruz Dos ReisAccording to the World Health Organization (WHO), in a concept defined in 1990 and updated in 2002, Palliative Care consists of assistance provided by a multidisciplinary team, which aims to improve the quality of life of the patient and their families, faced with a disease that threatens life, through the prevention and relief of suffering. Also known as "professional burnout syndrome", it develops in work situations that require great competitiveness or responsibility. Overwork is identified as the main cause of this disorder, commonly affecting professionals who deal with constant pressure and responsibilities on a daily basis, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers and journalists. Furthermore, Burnout Syndrome can be triggered when professionals are faced with extremely challenging work objectives, leading them to doubt their abilities to achieve them. This condition can lead to a state of deep depression, so it is essential to seek professional help when identifying the first symptoms. The purpose of this study is to recognize attributes of Burnout Syndrome, and aims to analyze the factors associated with Burnout Syndrome that affect nursing professionals during the Coronavirus pandemic. The present study constitutes an integrative review of articles published between 2018 and 2024, descriptive, qualitative and retrospective. A search was carried out on the platforms LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences), SCIELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) and on an academic search engine (Google Scholar), and found 30 articles relating to the topic, which we helped to understand the disease and the importance of providing better working conditions, reducing stress and providing support to health professionals, especially the Nursing team, which is the main source of assistance to the population.
